The chips of spun sugar and diamond continued to float down across the barren landscape, making deep drifts of fallen stars. The frigid flakes had been falling for several hours, though their numbers had been decreasing steadily for some time. The sun in the northern sky could be seen nearing the horizon through what was left of the gray clouds. Night was approaching, and little stirred across the barren expanse of snow, save for a lone figure trudging its way determinedly over the unmarked landscape of white.

Covered by a black cloak from head to toe, little could be told about the intruder in this serene scene. They were armed with a dar

I can't imagine anything more awesome than seeing your own stock being used so widely, in so many ways - that is, other than selling and making loads of money out of one of your own pictures, lol!!!!

You have excellent stock, and many excellent artists using it!

But your contest will have highlighted your stock, and so as a result, I'm sure more people will start using it.. It takes time to get anything new started, so don't lose heart! :)

wow, I never knew about the knee high thing. It's always good to read journals and comments, teheh.

anyway another suggestion, if it's possible, to set up infront of a window - i mean so the natural light can shine in on you. If you are comfortable with people being able to peer in, or you have a decent, undistrubed window.

and photos, well I perfer just leafing through photos and not packages, but that's just me, and packages wouldn't stop me from looking.
and that new faery queen theme, that would do well outside when it gets warm. If you can get to a brook or small river that would do well.
But the best thing to do, when you have no requests, it just try try try, anything that you think of. :)

Your outside shots are nice, especially with the lighting. Perhaps something involving more movement of some sort...perhaps the hair gently blowing in a breeze or the long skirt moving. Also, something implying interaction with some sort of animal(horse, dog, falcon, etc). As for packages vs. single uploads-whichever works best for you.(I prefer single shots so I'm not downloading extra stuff onto my comp.) Just wee suggestions-your stock really is nice already. Oh, the props are very helpful, also. Thanks bunches for your hard work! :D

Thanks for those advices... I am sure props would do nice job but what kind of props would be useful? What kind of things?

And I will try to get more outside stock when the winter is over...

Hmmm...candles, perhaps the long dinner type along with the little tea lights...hair brushes. Large long handled paint brushes, walking sticks or brooms. Something wand-like, perhaps. Bowls. Long stemmed flowers of some sort, as well as small posie-like bunches. Hope this is helpful. Have a great day! :D

OK try these suggestions
No on-camera flash - This should be rules 1 thru 10
If you use flash try to diffuse it and move it to one side or the other. Makes better images to draw and paint from.
Also try lowering your camera a bit you - are getting short legs from too high view angle
Camera on a tripod 24 to 30 inches high will help a lot. See: [link]
This is a photoshopped fix of another stock image that suffered from too high camera angle.

As for costumes - I prefer contemporary street and stylish dress-up outfits.

Keep posting I will get to your stock before long.

good luck
regards
Richard
